Dear all (but particularly Leeky who is events dude)

I propose having swim events on 16 July and 10 Sept
Distances would be

400m, 750m, 1500m 5k and 8K and why not a 10k

To be held after the Saturday sprints.
Not ASA so then we do not have to have a million life guards.

Price would be

£5 for the short distances (just to cover entry)
£10 for 5k and above.
Not to make huge sums of money

What do you reckon?

why not? The 16th is day before the Birling Beast, remember tho.. and I'm guessing stuff will also have to be run by the council? Steve H has gone to see them today as there are some issues apparently that need addressing.
Lets see what he comes back with and take it from there?

this will be a busy weekend - check with the TMBC first.
But will also give us a chance to get the Birling Course ready.

The fact everything is about the Lake will make it easier.

A race plan will be needed and numbers expected. If a small poster is made up A4 I could ask Strood and Larkfield to post it on their notice boards.

TMBC? Not sure what that is
I know it will be hectic but it gets everything over in one shot.
